Enjoy the Magic of the Enchanted Islands

Galapagos Island Hopping Tours

Galapagos is one of those unique places in the world. A true paradise for nature and wildlife lovers. They were called the Enchanted Islands by sailors who before reaching its shores saw them disappear into the fog. It took long time until the world recognizes the biological importance of the Galapagos Islands. A trip on board the H.M.S Beagle helped Charles Darwin to finish his book “The Origin of Species” that changes the way to see the world.

The origin of the islands is the product of volcanic eruptions caused by the collision of tectonic plates. They reach an elevation of 2600 meters above sea level, forming different climatic zones, each one with its own flora and fauna.

Galapagos weather is determined by the ocean currents of Humboldt and El Niño. From December to May is sunny and warm with a high probability of rain but they are the best months to travel for its climate. During the months of June to November it is cooler and dry but are good months to observe migratory species and marine life.

One of the ways to visit Galapagos is to stay in a hotel at one of the inhabited islands. You could travel from one island to the other by a speedboat and stay at night in nice hotels. If you don´t like to stay on board on a cruise this is a great option!
