Full Day Antisana

Full Day Antisana

The Antisana ecological reserve is located in the eastern range of Andes on the foothills of the impressive Antisana volcano. Easy to reach from the city of Quito in about one and half hour drive through spectacular landscape passing old lava flows and beautiful small lakes. We Stop along the road and take some time to scan the rocky outcrops ledges across the valley in search of resting Andean Condors. White guano washes will be a good hint as to where to look. This reserve is the most important stronghold for the Andean Condor and the Black-faced Ibis in Ecuador and other animals also have benefit from the conservation efforts such as the Andean deer, puma, Andean fox among others. Enjoy a day in nature.
